The Invisible Embrace

Fixing our Divided Self

Remember the game we played as children, I Spy? The leader would secretly find an item in the room and the others would guess based on the clues. Who knew we were learning to pay attention!

The player who starts picks an object that everyone can see. The player gives the first letter of the object as a clue. For example, if the player chooses a fence, they say, ‘I spy with my little eye something beginning with F’.Raising Children

Here’s what we can do, like a child, look around. We can do this in the morning or when taking a break from work. Let yourself “see.” Notice the apples, the birds, or your carrots at lunch. Be observant. Exercise your mind. Try colors and sounds.

Slow your stride and have a wonderful day.
